An Oxford man who assaulted a woman in a London hotel was ordered to stay off booze for 120 days.
Daniel Oakes, 35, of Hollow Way, Oxford, admitted assaulting a woman at the Hilton Double Tree hotel in Pepys Street, in the City of London, on March 26.
Westminster magistrates, where Oakes was sentenced, gave him six weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year.

He was ordered to comply with a 120 alcohol abstinence tag, banning him from drinking alcohol.
Oakes must also complete the Building Better Relationships course with the probation service and up to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
A restraining order limits his contact with his victim and bans him from going to a property in Oxford, two schools or the Sainsbury’s superstore in Cowley.
