FORENSICS officers have been seen outside a flat around 500 yards from the property where Peter Crowley was found dead on Sunday.
Dressed in white paper suits, the police officers were outside the three-storey block of flats in Stowford Road, Barton, this afternoon.
An unmarked police van could be seen to the front of property parked on the pavement. A marked patrol car was parked on a footpath at the back of the apartment building.

Thames Valley Police confirmed that the officers’ presence at the flats was linked to the murder investigation launched after the death of 50-year-old Peter Crowley on Sunday. He was found in a flat in Brome Place.
Detectives believe Mr Crowley was assaulted outside the Underhill Circus shops on the east Oxford estate on Saturday evening.
Two 17-year-old boys and a 16-year-old girl have so far been arrested on suspicion of murder. One of the boys has since been released without charge.

In a statement this afternoon, senior investigating officer Det Insp Mike Roddy of the Major Crimes Team said: “I would again appeal to anybody who believes that they may have witnessed an assault on a man near to the shops in Underhill Circus on Saturday evening at around 9.30pm to please contact us.
“I would also be keen to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam or CCTV footage to please check this can contact Thames Valley Police online or via 101, quoting incident reference 858 (24 April).”
