Oxford pub Jude The Obscure has reopened following a six-figure refurbishment.
Named after the famous Thomas Hardy novel, and located in Walton Street in Jericho, the Greene King hostelry has had a complete interior redesign, bringing a fresh new look to the classic urban pub.
The award-winning pub boasts an all-new premium interior décor, with a teal and green colour palette throughout.

Not only that, the pub has a beautiful new bar and has upgraded its drinks menu, including beers from local craft breweries White Horse and Siren, alongside its popular house brew Obscurity.
Outside, guests can relax with new furniture and planters providing a pleasant atmosphere for an evening drink with friends or family.
The pub is now 'heated and dog-friendly', according to pub company Greene King.
General manager Timothy Bailey said: "Jude The Obscure has always been a popular Oxford pub, and the whole team are thrilled to invite back our regulars and new customers so they can enjoy everything our new setting has to offer."

The pub's website says: "Situated in the heart of Jericho. Just a stroll from the famous spires of Oxford you will find Jude the Obscure, a traditional British pub with award-winning bar and kitchen.
"We have a beautiful heated and dog-friendly beer garden (with TVs).
"The pub itself has a very welcoming atmosphere where you will always feel at home.
"Join us for all major sport events - live on the big screen, as well as for live music on our Acoustic Thursday evenings.

The pub has a 4.5 out of five rating on reviews site Tripadvisor.
Reviewer Matt Wright said in his review last month: "Great food and drink. I’ve been here many times, for a drink with friends, for lunch with the family, to watch football on the large screens. Always helpful, friendly staff (especially William) and great atmosphere."
Reviewer Wendy added: "The Jude has always been a go to when my parents visit me in Oxford.
"Another really enjoyable lunch today - such friendly staff (thank you William!), great service and delicious food at a reasonable price."

Dave Richardson, a spokesman for the Oxford branch of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale, said: "It's always good to see a major chain like Greene King investing in its pubs.
"You can get Greene King beer in lots of different pubs but we like it when they allow some guest beers in as well."
