Oxford has been crowned the second-best city in the UK for beer gardens.
According to new research by Electric Radiators Direct, Oxford has almost five beer gardens for every 10,000 residents.
The radiator company investigated the number of beer gardens per person in major UK cities, as well as the average spring temperatures, sunshine and rainfall levels in each region, to determine the best spots to enjoy a cold drink in the sun.

Norwich took the title of beer garden capital, but Oxford with a total of 70 pubs with beer gardens was close behind in second place and Brighton in third.

However, it is also the fourth most expensive place in the UK to buy a pint with the average cost of a beer setting punters back £4.25.
