SAMANTHA PRIOR, 45, of Bayswater Road, Headington, pleaded guilty to six counts of stealing from John Lewis in the Westgate Centre. Among the filched items were Ray Ban sunglasses and Hugo Boss perfume. She was banned from John Lewis for a year and must do 60 hours of unpaid work and up to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days as part of a year-long community order. A drug rehabilitation programme was imposed and she must pay a £95 victim surcharge and £200 in compensation.

MARTELL OSMAN, 24, of Copse Lane, Oxford, was given a four month curfew for stealing fur coats worth £4,300 from Minox Boutique last November and jackets worth almost £4,000 from Flannels. He was ordered to pay £300 compensation, complete the thinking skills course with probation and was also told to pay a £95 victim surcharge.

GABRIEL PIRVU, 23, of Barracks Road, Northampton, pleaded guilty to stealing £95-worth of perfume from an Oxford Sainsbury’s on March 16. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

JORDAN TRACEY, 23, of Park End, Bodicote, was ordered to do 150 hours of unpaid work after he admitted assaulting and obstructing police officers. He was fined £92, ordered to pay £100 compensation to one officer and must pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

SUSAN CASSIDY, 41, of Blackthorn Road, Didcot, admitted assaulting another woman at Stephen Freeman Community School, Didcot, on February 2. She was given a 12 month community order with 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days and a year-long restraining order preventing her from contacting the victim. The magistrates ordered she pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

EDWARD MCKENNA, 61, of Atkinson Close, Headington, admitted drink driving a Vauxhall Corsa on the A40, Headington, on August 29 last year. Tests showed he had 101mlgs of alcohol in 100ml of blood. The legal limit is 80. He was fined £80, banned from driving for a year and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

AQUA HALL, 23, of Fisher Close, Banbury, pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis in Banbury last October. She was given a 12 month conditional discharge and must pay £107 in costs and surcharge.

PATRIK GABCO, 26, of Sewall Highway, Coventry, admitted drink driving a BMW 118d on the M40 in March. He was a little under twice the legal drink driving limit. He was fined £120, banned from the roads for 17 months and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

CARLIE JAMES, 27, of Cherry Croft, Wantage, was fined £120, banned for 17 months and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge after pleading guilty to drink driving a Hyundai iX35 in Ardlington.

MANDEEP BHULLAR, 31, of Pegasus Road, Oxford, admitted drink driving a Vauxhall Astra on Field Avenue on March 31. He was fined £246, banned from driving for a year and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

FEMINESH ROCHA, 36, of Barton Road, Headington, was fined £200, banned from driving for a year and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge after admitting drink driving on the Eastern Bypass.

PHILLIP HARPER, 44, of Grebe Close, Oxford, admitted breaching a restraining order by going to Astrop Lane, Oxford, and using racially-aggravated threatening behaviour. He was sentenced to 20 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for two year, must do 80 hours of unpaid work and pay £213 in costs and surcharge.

CAROLINE WALLS, 45, of Linnet Close, Oxford, admitted 11 shoplifting offences, including stealing from John Lewis and Sainsbury’s. She was given eight weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year. She was given a community order with up to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days, a nine month drug rehabilitation order and was banned from any shop in the country except her local pharmacy. She must pay £500 compensation.
