A charity that runs a community fridge in Bicester left a bunch of flowers on a stranger’s doorstep.
Dawn Parsons was surprised to find the flowers posted pictures to the Facebook community page Bicester Chat.
She said: “Just wanted to say thank you for the flowers, was having a not so good day and opened my front door to see them sat there. They are absolutely beautiful and made me smile, this has never happened to me and I’m truly grateful.”

Attached to the bouquet was a note from Bicester Community Fridge. It said: “Please enjoy these flowers from the Bicester Community Fridge, this is a random act of kindness. Have a nice day.”

Community fridges accept surplus food from local businesses and members of the public and make it freely available to all members of the community. It helps to cut food waste and food poverty.
