The Post Office is hunting for applicants to run for three brand new branches in Oxfordshire.
The branches will be opened in Kennington, Charlgrove and Goring.
News of three branches opening in the county come as the Co-op in Summertown in Oxford, which is homed to a Post Office branch, announced it will close in September.

A Post Office spokesperson said: “We have very recently been advised that Midcounties Co-op will be closing its store in Summertown at the end of September and will no longer operate Summertown Post Office from that time.
“We know how important a Post Office is to a community. The vacancy will soon be advertised on www.runapostoffice.co.uk. Out field team will also visit to speak to local retailers about the opportunity.”
For these franchise opportunities the company is looking for an applicant who has ‘superb customer service and focus’, ‘excellent business management skills and experience’ and a ‘talent for motivating and managing’ their branch team.
The opportunities are all for Post Office Locals which an applicant can integrate into their own retail business.
The exact layout and design of these branches will be agreed between the applicant and the Post Office to suit their business.

All of the application deadlines are April 30 2022.
Kennington
Estimated Post Office fees: £15,723 - £17,470 per annum
Chalgrove
Estimated Post Office fees: £16,683 - £18,537 per annum
Goring
Estimated Post Office fees: £17,100 - £19,000 per annum
