More than 6,000 pupils have been offered their first choice of secondary school for when they start Year 7 in September, but hundreds have been left with their second, third or fourth choice.
Across Oxfordshire 88.27 per cent of pupils transferring to secondary school have a place at their first choice of school, leaving more than 11 per cent to be allocated schools that were not their first choice.
It has also been revealed that 11 schools in the county still had available places on March 1, 2022.
We would like to hear from parents of school children who did not get their school of choice. Are you unhappy with the school your child has been allocated? Will you now need to pay for added transport costs?
