A PERSON was taken to hospital after a serious crash on the M40.
The incident happened at around 11.40am yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the scene after a car reportedly overturned between Junction 10 and 11 towards Banbury.
Police stopped traffic to clear the scene before reopening the road at around 1pm.
A SCAS spokesperson said: "We sent to the scene two ambulance crews and a rapid response vehicle assessing three patients.
"Two patients were assessed at the scene and did not require hospital treatment and the third was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital by ambulance following treatment at the scene by our crews for non life threatening injuries."
