A CANTEEN at a school of health has been told to improve its own standards after getting a two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Gather And Gather, a canteen at Oxford Brookes University's School Of Health And Social Care, in Jack Straw's Lane, Marston, was given the low mark after an assessment on March 3.
Inspectors at Oxford City Council noted in their report that improvement was necessary at the canteen. For the category of 'food hygiene and safety' it scored a mark of 'good', but for 'structural compliance' it scored 'improvement necessary' and for 'confidence in management' inspectors marked it as 'generally satisfactory'.
