Appeal: John Tanner
RESIDENTS are being asked to nominate local heroes who deserve recognition for voluntary work in the city.
Lord Mayor John Tanner is urging people to nominate volunteers to receive a certificate of honour.
Nominees do not have to live in Oxford, but the service they provide must be carried out in the city, over a substantial period of time, and be of significant benefit to the community.
To nominate someone, call Jude Skipp at the Town Hall on 01865 252414. The deadline for nominations is Friday, February 28.
