A sex offender who failed to sign on at the police station within three days of his jail release has been sent down.
Under the terms of his sex offender notification requirements, Michael Hardisty, 39, of Bernwood Road, Headington, had to register at Slough police station within three days of being released from prison that he had no fixed address.
He twice breached that requirement – in August and again in November last year.
Appearing before Westminster Magistrates’ Court after he was arrested on a court-issued warrant, the Oxford man admitted the two breaches of the sex offender notification requirements.
He was jailed for 48 weeks and fined £200 for breaching an earlier conditional discharge.
A £128 victim surcharge was deemed paid by time served in the court cells.
