Police in Didcot are happy for aspiring artists to doodle on a new graffiti wall - but no swearing please.
Oxfordshire County Council is allocating the subway walls off Hitchcock Way near Aldi as blank canvases for creative expression.
It is hoped this will save the cost of clean-ups elsewhere in the town.
But police had advice for "those who wish to show their artistic prowess through graffiti".
TVP South Oxon and Vale of White Horse posted: "Art can be expressed as long as there is nothing that is offensive, and individuals stay off the brickwork at the entrance."
