Ten people from Oxfordshire have appeared in courts around the country in the last week.

The people appeared at Magistrates’ courts around the UK for a variety of different offences.

They made their court appearances between March 9 and March 16.

Alexandra Lloyd

Lloyd, of Shipton Road in Ascott Under Wychwood, appeared at Avon & Somerset Magistrates’ Court on March 14.

The court found that on May 15 2021 Lloyd drove a vehicle on the northbound M5 between junction 24 and 23 at 76mph, 26 miles above the speed limit of 50mph.

57-year old Lloyd was fined £170, makde to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £90. Her driving record was also endorsed with six points.

Andres Sosa

Sosa, of Saffron Close in Bicester, appeared at Greater Manchester Magistrates’ Court on March 9.

The court found that on October 10 Sosa entered a metrolink vehicle or station without a valid ticket.

22-year old Sosa was fined £220, made to pay a  victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £120.

Marvis Birungi

Birungi, of Centaury Place in Oxford, appeared at North and East Hertfordshire Magistrates’ Court on March 10.

The court found that on July 23 2021 at Stanstead Abbotts Birungi drove a vehicle on the A414 at a speed of 65mph, when the speed limit was 50mph.

36-year old Birungi was fined £66, made to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and their driving record was endorsed with three penalty points.

Andrew Painting

Painting, of Cheshire Drive in Heyford Park, appeared at North Yorkshire Magistrates’ Court on March 9.

The court found that on May 5 2021 Painting drove a vehicle on the A168 at a speed exceeding the 70mph limit.

Painting was fined £119, made to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £90. Painting’s driving record was endorsed with three penalty points.

Jacinta McCreath

McCreath appeared at Avon & Somerset Magistrates’ Court on March 14.

The court documents stated that on May 28 2021 ‘having been required by or on behalf of the Chief Officer of Police for Avon and Somerset Constabulary, failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle […] who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence’.

35-year old McCreath was fined £660, made to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and costs of £90.

Her driving record was also endorsed with six penalty points.

James Hetherington

Hetherington, of Cowley Road in Oxford, appeared at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on March 14.

The court found that on August 29 2021 Hetherington drove a vehicle at a speed exceeding the 50mph limit.

The 45-year old was fined £220, made to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £90.

His driving record was also endorsed with three penalty points.

Liam Neville

Neville, of Keytes Close in Adderbury, appeared in Avon & Somerset Magistrates’ Court on March 14.

Court documents stated that on March 5 2021 ‘having been required by or on behalf of the Chief Officer of Police for Avon and Somerset Constabulary, failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle […] who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence’.

The 28-year old was fined £660, made to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and costs of £90. His driving record was also endorsed with six penalty points.

Mindaugas Miezinis

Miezinis, of Pegasus Road in Oxford, appeared at Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on March 10.

The court found that on July 21 2021 Miezinis drove a vehicle on the A14 at a speed of 62mph, exceeding the 50mph limit.

23-year old Miezinis was fined £130, made to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £90.

Their driving record was endorsed with three penalty points.

Craig Johnston

Johnston, of Westfield Road in Benson, appeared at Sussex (Central) Magistrates’ Court on March 10.

The court found that on July 15 Johnston drove a vehicle on the A27 a speed exceeding the 70mph limit.

34-year old Johnston was fined £300, made to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £90. His driving record was endorsed with six penalty points.

James McKenchnie

McKenchnie, of Marlow Road in Henley-on-Thames, appeared at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on March 11.

The court found McKenchnie drove a vehicle on the A4109 Pantyffordd (Golwg y Bryn) on August 28 2021 at 35mph, the speed limit being 30mph.

The 42-year old was fined £146, made to pay a surcharge of £34 and costs of £90.

McKenchnie also had three penalty points added to his record.
