Police are appealing for witnesses after a member of staff was assaulted by teenagers in Poundland.
At around 3.50pm on Sunday March 6 the victim, a man in his 50s, was working at the store in Bury Street in Abingdon when two boys entered the store among a group of others.
The boys assaulted the staff member by pushing him, causing him to fall.
The victim did not suffer any serious injuries and the offenders then left the store.
The first offender is described as white, around 15 years old and 6ft tall with a slim build.
He was clean shaven with black short hair and was wearing a black hooded top with red on it, grey tracksuit bottoms with a blue Nike logo and black trainers.
The second offender is described as white, around 14 years old, 5ft 6in tall and of slim build.
He had short blond hair and no facial hair and was wearing a fur-hooded black coat and white Nike Air Force One trainers.
A 15-year-old boy from Abingdon has been arrested on suspicion of common assault and has been released under investigation.
Investigating officer PC Edward Dodd, based at Abingdon police station, said: “I’m appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident to please contact Thames Valley Police, either by reporting online or by calling 101, quoting reference number 43220100036.
“Alternatively, for 100% anonymity, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
