Some towns and cities have cut their ties with their Russian twin towns following the invasion of Ukraine.
Doncaster in South Yorkshire has ended its arrangement with Ozyorsk and Wakefield in West Yorkshire has severed links with Belgorod.
Cheltenham Twinning Association has temporarily suspended all twinning activities with Sochi.
Durham is to end its twinning arrangements with the Russian city of Kostroma.
Nottingham will sever ties with Krasnodar in Russia and Minsk in Belarus.
Manchester is to suspend a 'friendship agreement' with St Petersburg.
Canterbury Three Cities Association (CTCA) has condemned Russia's invasion, which it says "calls into question" relations between the twinned cities of Canterbury and Vladimir - a city east of Moscow.
But Exeter, twinned with Yaroslavl near Moscow, have said they have no plans to sever ties, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
Coventry said it was "the original British city to reach out a hand of friendship to post-war Stalingrad - now known as Volgograd" and "it is determined to retain its long-term links with their partner".
Plymouth, twinned with the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk, is maintaining links.
Meanwhile Oxfordshire County Council said the county's link with Perm was "historic".
A spokesperson said: "There has been no contact /links with Perm for many years."
