A striking new black and white mural has appeared under Donnington Bridge.
It shows what looks like a Viking warrior, with a horned helmet, lying down in a boat.
Below are the words 'Till the day comes Fenrir the beast beckons life let go Valhalla'.
Fenrir is a monstrous wolf in Norse mythology, the son of god Loki and a giantess, Angerboda.
According to the myth, Fenrir is restrained until 'Ragnarök', which is the end of the world, when he will be free.
Valhalla is considered the 'heaven' in Norse mythology, where warriors go when they die until Ragnarök when they will come back to fight for their god, Odin.
