The serious incident occurred at The Plain Roundabout near Magdalen Bridge in Oxford's city centre.
The Plain is at the junction of Iffley Road, Cowley Road, St Clement’s and the High Street at Magdalen Bridge.
The Plain got its name after the parish church of St Clement's which stood there until 1829 and is also the site of the former churchyard.
Back in 2017, it was also noted as the 'second most dangerous' roundabout in the UK for cyclists.
