A judge was told to ‘take care’ by a pair of fresh-faced burglars.
Bill Mobey, 23, of Wimborne Avenue, Banbury, and a 16-year-old boy who cannot be named as he is under-18, appeared before Oxford Crown Court on Friday afternoon where they pleaded guilty to a single count of burglary.
The pair were said by prosecutors to be part of a group that broke into an outhouse of a property in Somerton Road, Souldern, on February 18, 2021, and stole two nail guns, car batteries, copper cable and copper piping.
Recorder Michael Roques bailed the men to return to court later in the spring for sentence. He ordered pre-sentence reports.
The younger of the two defendants told the judge to ‘take care’ as he was bailed.
