Exclusive video shows large chunks of the roof being blown off of a new £70 million hangar at RAF Brize Norton by Storm Eunice.
Wind gusts of 70mph-plus are lifting tiles off the hangar, where the UK's 22-strong fleet of Atlas transport planes is maintained.
Station Road, Brize Norton, is closed due to falling material from the building.
The Atlas maintenance, repair and overhaul facility, which was officially opened by Defence Minister Guto Bebb MP in 2018, covers 24,000 square metres and is 28 metres high.
It is fitted out and fully operational in support of RAF transport operations all over the world.
The video was shot by George Allison of the UK Defence Journal.
