A vigil attended by more than 100 people was held this morning to remember a cyclist who was killed in a crash with a lorry.
The cyclist, a woman in for 40s, was died at the scene of the crash at the junction of the A4165 and Oxford Parkway Train Station on February 8.
The vigil was organised by cycling charity Cyclox and people gathered near Oxford Parkway station at around 7.45am to remember the woman.

Photographs from the vigil, which the charity called a “poignant and sad moment” show a large number of people gathered in a circle and flowers attached to a fence post and bicycle.
Alison Hill, chair of Cyclox, said: “We did not advertise [the event] because we put it on to express our grief for the loss of the life and we did not want to make a media scene of it. There were about 100 people gathered just south of where the collision occurred.”
She explained the vigil was not a protest but a “peaceful” way for people to “pay their respects in a dignified way” and to “respect the death of this person”.
However, Ms Hill said the people involved in the charity are now thinking about what actions should be taken to express their “anger, distress and concern about what to do next and to make the road safer”.
The vigil was comprised of people from Kidlington and those who use the road to cycle on.
