AN Oxford hotel is in with the chance of winning an award for the second year running.
voco Oxford Thames hotel has been named a finalist in the Guides for Brides awards in the best large wedding venue category.

The awards recognises and rewards businesses that deliver exceptional service and achieve outstanding customer satisfaction, based on the quality and quantity of a venue’s reviews.
The news comes as voco Oxford Thames expands its dedicated wedding team with two new executive appointments, as the hotel experiences a return of wedding bookings for the year ahead.
Wendy Procter, general manager of the hotel, said: “We’re thrilled to be named a finalist for large venue for the second year running, particularly at a time when we are committed and focused on recovery.
“Our wedding bookings are returning, and our team is expanding so it’s an exciting time and hopefully we’ll be celebrating next month at the awards ceremony.”

A prestigious panel of industry experts will judge the shortlist before winners are announced at the black tie event on March 9 at Oxford Town Hall.
