PEOPLE have the chance to have their say on more than 1,700 homes coming to open countryside between Oxford and Kidlington.
A consultation opened on January 26 and will run until March 8 to allow people to express their views on three housing developments.
Here's everything you need to know about what's coming:
Where will the houses be?
There are three sites in north Oxford that these houses have previously been allocated for by Cherwell District Council.
One site covers land west of Oxford Road next to Jordan Hill Business Park and is called PR6b in the consultation.
The second site sits east of Oxford Road near Oxford Parkway and is called PR6a.
The third site sits south-east of Kidlington near Kidlington Cemetery and is called PR7a.
How many homes will be on each site?
Site PR6b will have 670 homes.

Site PR6a will have 690 homes.
Site PR7a will have 430 homes.
That's a total of 1,790 homes across the three developments.
What else will be on the estates?
PR6b will have 'high-quality' and accessible green spaces, play areas and wildlife corridors.
Site PR6a will have a new primary school, play areas, public open spaces, an 'all-weather' cycle route and local shops to serve it and neighbouring site PR6b.

Site PR7a will include an outdoor sports facility, green space, an extension to Kidlington Cemetery and play areas.
Why is a consultation being held?
Views are being gathered to be used as a guide on how the developments should be built and for future planning applications.
