A boy from Oxford has been charged with robbery and a drugs offence.

The 17-year-old boy was charged last night with a count of robbery and a count of possession of cannabis.

The charges are in connection with an incident in Worcester Street, Oxford, on Monday evening when a 16-year-old boy was threatened and had his coat and Air Pods stolen.

The boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged and will appear before Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.
