SIX properties in Oxford were closed by police last year due to anti-social behaviour.

A closure order stops anybody who does not live in the property from entering.

It is sought by police and granted by the court.

Here's a list of the places that police shut down last year in Oxford. The only people allowed inside are the residents, emergency services and the housing association.

1. On November 15, 2021 a closure order for All Seasons Guest House in Headington was granted.

Police said the property was involved with prostitution. 

Guests cannot visit the hotel for three months.

2. On October 6, 2021, a closure order for a property in Coltsfoot Square, Oxford was granted.

Police served a notice on October 5 due to anti-social behaviour and Oxford Magistrates' Court approved the order for three months.

3. On September 3, 2021, police shut down a property in Cowley Road, Oxford due to antisocial behaviour.

The order was granted at Oxford Magistrates' Court for three months.

Another closure order was granted at this property on December 7, 2021 for three months.

4. On December 6, 2021 a clourse order was granted at Butler House, Ashurst, Oxford.

It followed a notice that was served by police on December 2 following antisocial behaviour.

The order is in place for three months.

5. On December 17, 2021, a flat in Dogson Road, Oxford was shut down by police due to anti-social behaviour.

It followed a notice that was served by police on December 16.

The order is in place for three months.

6. On Septmeber 21, 2021, a property in Holloway Way, Cowley was closed by police due to anti-social behaviour.

It followed a notice that was served by police on September 20.

The order was in place for three months.
