An Extinction Rebellion protester was handed a conditional discharge over a demonstration in Oxford Circus last August.
Maria Huff, 58, of Duns Tew, near Bicester, was found guilty earlier this month of failing to comply with an instruction by a police officer to cease protesting in Oxford Circus and Regent Street on August 25 last year.
On that day, the environmental protesters swarmed Oxford Street and put up a large pink structure.
Huff was found guilty on January 4 after a trial at City of London Magistrates’ Court.
She was given a nine month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £797 in costs and surcharge.
