Witney’s much-missed post office has been given a new lease of life with newly refurbished pub the Part and Parcel jokingly billed as a space to "eat, drink and be social-ly distanced".
The site, which was formerly occupied by Bill’s, is run by Dodo Pubs Ltd, who describe themselves as "a group of foodies, restaurateurs, craft beer and wine lovers, graphic designers, artists, event creators and interior designers, who all have a passion for design, travel, food and drink".
The group has grown since 2014 to now include The Rusty Bicycle, The Rickety Press and The The Up in Arms in Oxford as well as the Bottle of Sauce in Cheltenham and a pub in Reading.
Part and Parcel will be running quiz nights, DJ nights and Live Music Tuesdays broadcast live with Windrush Radio, with The Voice Kids champion Torrin and The Subtheory kicking off the first of many - stay tuned to Facebook for more information.
Meanwhile Dodo Works is a 25-desk space set out on two open plan floors above the Part and Parcel Pub below.
Members of the workspace can use all the facilities as a break out space for casual meetings or a wind down at the end of a productive day upstairs in the works.
The pub also boasts a brand-new brand called Caffeine and Cake - which, they say, serves up the best coffee and cake in the area.
