More than 1,500 positive Covid cases have been reported in Oxfordshire.
According to the latest Government figures at 4pm on January 6, there are 1,580 new Covid cases and no new deaths.
The new cases were recorded as follows:
• Oxford (327)
• Cherwell (344)
• South Oxfordshire (336)
• Vale of White Horse (322)
• West Oxfordshire (251)
These latest figures mean there has now been a total of 129,906 recorded cases of Covid-19 in the county.
Across the UK, 179,756 new people had a positive test result reported today.

Between December 31 and January 6, 1,272,131 people had a confirmed positive test result.
This shows an increase of 29.3 per cent compared to the previous seven days.
There were 231 deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported in the latest figures.
Between December 30 and January 6, there was 1,094 deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.
This shows an increase of 56.1 per cent compared to the previous seven days.
The latest vaccination figures reveal that almost 52 million people have been given a first dose, while more than 47 and a half million people have been given a second dose. More than 34 and a half million people have been given a booster or third dose.
