Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons has been named one of the top dog-friendly places to stay.
The two Michelin-starred restaurant owned by celebrity chef Raymond Blanc, sits in stunning gardens on the edge of Great Milton.
It won first place in the Gourmet Getaways category in dog-friendly holiday company PetsPyjamas travel awards.
Judges took into consideration a dog-loving atmosphere and staff at all times; three or more dog-friendly rooms available to book; four-legged access to some of the property’s communal areas; special pet menus being a bonus; dog facilities and provisions such as a bed, bowls and treats in the property; and nearby dog-friendly attractions such as a fabulous doggy walks or a dog-friendly beach.
Le Manoir does ask guests to leave their dog to relax in the room while they dine in the restaurant.
General manager Eveline Noort said: “During the last 18 months, we have spent more time than ever with our pets and they play a huge part in our family life.
"It is wonderful that our guests want to bring them here to Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons to be part of family celebrations.
"We have three beautiful dog-friendly bedrooms, each individually designed offering supreme comfort and elegance, as well as small, heated kennels, chewy toys, comfy dog beds and Le Chameau boots at the ready for your countryside walks during your stay."
