A Barton man has appeared in court accused of dealing heroin and crack cocaine.
Prosecutors say Lewis Brown, 20, was involved in supplying the class A drugs in Littlemore between March 28 and April 18, 2020.
It follows the discovery by police of drugs in a container hidden in the communal garden of flats where Brown and another man were allegedly arrested.
Appearing before Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday afternoon, Brown, of Barton Village Road, Oxford, entered no plea to charges of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
He was remanded in custody ahead of a plea and trial preparation hearing at Oxford Crown Court on February 4.
A co-defendant, Rhys Chapman, 19, of Plowman Tower, Marston, pleaded guilty to both charges. His case was committed to the crown court for sentence next month.
