A RECORD number of Covid jabs were administered in Oxfordshire this week.
More than 75,500 booster jabs have been given out across the county, with more than 41,000 vaccines during Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The NHS Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (OCCG) is aiming to deliver booster vaccines to all eligible adults in the county – more than 225,000 – before the end of December.
More sites are opening over the coming week, with extended opening hours and walk-in opportunities, as volunteers and staff are redeployed.

Julie Dandridge, head of primary care and lead for the vaccine programme at OCCG, said: “Getting vaccinated and boosted remains the best thing you can do to protect yourself and your families against getting seriously ill from Covid-19.
“If you're unvaccinated it is never too late to come forward for a vaccine – all vaccination sites will welcome you.
“I want to thank people in Oxfordshire who have turned up for their booster jab and all those staff and volunteers who are supporting this vaccine effort.”
Appointments for people who have not yet been vaccinated are available, with 849 people receiving a first dose and more than a thousand getting a second dose over the weekend.
