Eagle-eyed photographers snapped images of a gorgeous sunrise over the county this morning.
The photographs show the sun climbing over the Oxfordshire skyline with the light coloured by various shades of orange, yellow and pink.
Such a beautiful sunrise is very apt given that yesterday was the winter solstice and from today the sun will begin to rise earlier and set later - meaning we will get more daylight hours.

This morning the sun rose at 8:11am and these photographers were out and about early enough to take the picture-perfect snaps.
They shared their images on the Oxford Mail's Camera Club on Facebook and emailed them directly to us.
