Cases continue to stay high in Oxfordshire as more than 1,000 new Covid-19 cases are registered in the county.
According to the latest Government figures 1,118 new Covid cases have been registered and there have been no new deaths in Oxfordshire.
Over the weekend, a total of 2,206 new Covid cases were recorded in the county.
These are the latest cases separated by local authority as of Sunday December 19, at 4pm:
Oxford – 252
South Oxfordshire – 290
Cherwell – 192
West Oxfordshire – 144
Vale of White Horse – 240
The total number of coronavirus cases since the pandemic started are:
Oxford – 25,167
Oxfordshire – 105,282
The UK has recorded a further 45 Covid-related deaths and 82,886 new cases, according to Government data.

Cases identified through a positive lateral flow test – those which can deliver results within half an hour – will no longer be counted if the person then takes a PCR test, which is sent to a lab to be checked, and receives a negative result within three days.
Across the UK 89.5 per cent of people have received their first jab, and 81.7 per cent have received their second dose of the Covid vaccine. A further 48.8 per cent of people in the UK have received their booster jab.
