Crowds gathered near Radcliffe Camera in Oxford to catch a glimpse of the new Willy Wonka actor Timothée Chalamet.
About 50 people were seen waiting for an appearance of the star on Catte Street this afternoon. Fans of the actor screamed and followed him as he walked out in a long, hooded,black cloak and a face mask.
Fans have also been filming the actor.

Earlier this month, University of Oxford newspaper the Cherwell reported that students at Hertford College were told that the college’s cat Simpkin IV would be ‘competing for quad space with the cast and crew of the new Wonka film’.

‘Dune’ actor Timothée Chalamet will star as Willy Wonka in the Paul King-directed feature film.
The story, scripted by Horrible Histories actor Simon Farnaby and based on Roald Dahl’s beloved character, will focus on Willy Wonka’s adventures as a young man – before he opened his famous chocolate factory.
