Bin collection days in Oxford over Christmas
Oxford City council has confirmed that there will be some changes to your bin collection over the festive period.
The council has released a revised timetable with these changes.
If your normal collection day is Tuesday, December 28 2021, you now get your rubbish collected on Wednesday, December 29.
Those who get their bins collected on Wednesday, December 29 will have their rubbish picked up on Thursday, December 30.
If your bin day is Thursday, December 30, your revised bin collection date is Friday, December 31.
When your normal collection day is Friday, December 31, your bin day has been moved to Tuesday, January 4 2022.
Those who get their bins collected on Tuesday, January 4, can expect to get their rubbish picked up on Wednesday, January 5.
The pattern continues with those who have a regular Wednesday, January 5 bin day, getting their rubbish picked up on Thursday, January 6.
Instead of getting your bins collected on Thursday, January 6, your revised bin day will be Friday 7 January.
The Christmas timetable runs up to Saturday, January 8 when those who have a regular Friday, January 7 bin day, will get their rubbish collected.
If you're unsure of when your bin collection day is, consult the Oxford City Council website.
Oxford City Council has also said that it is suspending its garden waste (brown bin/sack) and bulky waste collections over Christmas.
It will be suspending its services from Tuesday, December 21 and restarting collections on Wednesday, January 5.
