For many young people getting on the property ladder feels like a mammoth challenge.
House prices in Oxford are high and saving enough money for a deposit can take years.
To help, we searched for the cheapest properties to buy in Oxford. We looked at homes that did not have a ‘help to buy scheme’ and that were not advertised as retirement homes.
The cheapest property on the market is a three-bedroom home with a guide price of £50,000, however, it was severely damaged in a fire earlier this year.

Many other properties on sale for under £100,000 are mobile homes.
However, one maisonette in Oxford with a guide price of £170,000 is on the market.
The one-bedroom property is located on Windmill Road in Headington.
It has an entrance hall, open plan kitchen, living room, double bedroom with fitted wardrobes, ensuite bathroom with a bath and overhead power shower.
