Let us introduce you to the seven dogs at Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary that are looking for forever homes. 

The sanctuary rehomes up to 500 animals every year and looks after 30 dogs at any one time.

Banksy

Banksy loves to play and be around people.

He would be best in a home where his owner is around most of the time and is free to take him on long walks.

Banksy is looking for a home without other pets and children that has a garden for him to play in.

He needs an owner who knows about resource guarding and you should obly apply if you do understand what this beahviour means.

One of the santuary's behaviourist will be on hand to provide the lucky owner with support though.

Marvin

Age - 4 years old

Breed - Lurcher x

Marvin is an affectionate and lovable young man looking for a new home to call his own. 

He is house trained and is non-destructive meaning you can leave him for a short period.

His new home can have children over the age of 12 but he can't live and be beside cats or other small furry pets.

His new owner needs to be strong and committed to his training, particularly working with him on the lead.

There also needs to be a secure garden that has 6ft fencing all around.

Willie

Willie is very affectionate and needs an experienced owner that is willing to do training and multiple visits to get to know him. 

His new home cannot have other dogs, children under 16 or a lot of visitors.

Breed - Lurcher

Suki is on the hunt for an active home that she could call hers forever.

She’s affectionate and cuddly and loves being around people.

Her new home could include dog savvy children over the age of 10 and a similar sized dog, preferably a hound.

Suki can't live with cats or other small furry pets and she needs a secure garden that has 6ft fencing all around.

Sash

Sash loves to play and be around people and is very good at walking.

She is looking for a home without other pets and children where she can relax.

Sash also needs a secure garden to play in that is protected by a six-foot fence.

Her new owner would need to experience of resource guarding or owners who are willing to learn about this.

Buddy

Buddy is a "typical happy Staffy" that loves to play.

He has a lot of love to give but needs an adult only home.

His new owner needs to be calm and shouldn't own any other pets.

Wallace is super affectionate and loves to be with his pack.

He’s also super clever and loves to learn new things.

Wallace needs to live in an adult only home with possibly a large, tolerant but playful dog, that’s similar in size.

His new owner needs to be dedicated and willing to put lots of time into training and take things at a slow pace since Wallace can be a little reactive.
