Wetherspoon's The Catherine Wheel Hotel is the best 'Spoons in Oxfordshire, according to customer reviews.
"The hotel couldn’t be more central, ideal for the river and pubs/restaurants in Henley, the pub itself is huge with 2 bars and a great outside seating area, staff friendly and efficient," shaunmb1 wrote in September.
He added: "A quick check in process and we went to our room which was a bit tired and in need of a refurb, however the bed was really comfortable and the room really nice and quiet so a good night sleep.
"I had a Traditional breakfast the next morning and my wife chose an Egg Benedict with mushrooms, both came piping hot and really nicely cooked.
"The only downside was the nearest overnight car park was a 10 min walk away, and with the street being so busy and limited short term parking, we had to take the cases along the road to the car.
"All in all a value for money place to stay in Henley."

Reviewing the watering hole, Isle-Of-Wighty said: "We liked the Four Candles, it has an excellent location in the centre of Oxford and was a traditional type of spoons.
"The prices were very good, service was friendly and the range of drinks were excellent.
"We only stayed for one drink, as Oxford is blessed with so many excellent places to eat and drink, but I would be happy to visit again."

"As usual for Wetherspoons the drink is cheap and the staff friendly, the atmosphere is great no loud music so you are able to have a conversation with your friends.

TripAdvisor user Y9448VXclairep shared her experience, writing:"We came for dinner recently and we found that the pub was very good value for money and in an excellent location for anyone visiting Oxford like us.
"The staff were so kind to me when I accidentally left my glasses behind in the pub."
While another customer, flo1863, disagreed:"We were a party of 6. The pub was rammed and clearly not enough staff on.
"We ordered food which took half an hour/fourth minutes to come. We were told the food would be at least half an hour.
"Then when the food did arrive, the vegetables in my meal were cold, sent back twice."
