A “massive” Hollywood film which will be shooting in Oxfordshire next year is recruiting extras from the county.
Kitbag is a historical drama focusing on the life of French military leader and emperor Napoleon Bonaparte.
The film is directed by Ridley Scott and will star Jodie Comer and Joaquin Phoenix.

A source from the set told the Oxford Mail there will be various battle scenes filmed around Oxfordshire.
The production is looking to recruit ex-soldiers and young men to take part in the battle scenes. There are also casting calls for female extras are also being hired for ball scenes.
The sourced explained that those who apply need to be fit as there will be an intensive three week bootcamp which will train the extras in historically accurate army drills.
The selection process for extras on the film begin on November 22 with shooting in the county starting in January 2022.
