The county's biggest fireworks display put on a spectacular show for its 53rd year.
Oxford Round Table's Annual Charity Fireworks Display in South Park was cancelled at last-minute last year, as the nation went into a second national lockdown. However, it was back on this year with what organisers have called "the best display ever".
Fireworks were played along to music, with a bonfire, funfair, a bar and a dedicated enclosure and viewing area.
The fireworks company in charge of this year’s display was Illusion Fireworks from Wallingford, which is one of the best companies in the country and is a previous UK Fireworks Champion.
Thousands were expected to turn up to the display on Saturday evening, and although no official count has been completed yet, expectations did not disappoint.
Chris Langston, 44, from Oxford Round Table is one of the organisers of the fireworks display and he feels Saturday's turn out made up for 2020's loss.
He said: "It was a very good night with a very good display. I think it was probably one of the best displays we have ever had."

It was not just 2020 that was a bad year for the display, in 2019 the event was hit with heavy rain, but it did not cancel.
Although there was a bit of rain this year it did not put a dampener on the event.
Mr Langston said: "The weather was okay, there was the odd bit of drizzle in the air, but it didn't bother anyone too much, at least it wasn't pouring with rain."
The community groups spent hours on Sunday morning clearing South Park of litter after the event.
Mr Langston said: "I have been here at the park clearing up since 7'oclock this morning. We have had some great help from Friends of South Park and the local Cubs and Scout groups, who have done a litter pick for us. It is all nearly back together now."
Mr Langston hopes the fireworks will be back again next year, bigger and better.
He said: "Definitely after missing out last year everyone's appetite was wetted and they were definitely pleased to see fireworks on the park again. So far I have only heard positive feed back and hopefully we will be back again next year.
"Next year November 5 falls on a Saturday so that normally encourages extra numbers out so we are hopeful."
The Round Table will start counting up the money raised from the evening in the coming weeks.
All profits from the fireworks display at South Park will go towards charities, through the local round table charity.
