The creation of another mystery knitter has appeared in Abingdon's Market Place, this time the theme is Remembrance Day.
Knitted in dark green yarn, the new post box toper resembles the bust of a soldier, accompanied on the base by red and a few purple poppies.

Attached to it there is a note which reads: "This is Ronald. He symbolises those who gave their tomorrow for our today. Lets we forget. Please look and share, but do not damage."
Once again, this mystery knitter wishes to stay anonymous just like other fellow yarn-bombers.
Previously, another knitter has said that people create these yarn-bombing pieces because they not only enjoy making them, but it is also a way to continue their craft and spread love to anyone that encounters them.
