Postal woes have effected people all across Oxfordshire in the last couple of weeks, with the delays leaving residents ‘furious’.
A number have people have been left without important parcels, letters, birthday cards and bills, while others have had to wait for new debit cards.
The delays have effected people living in Blackbird Leys, Wantage and Headington.

One Wantage resident, who requested to be kept anonymous, said that Royal Mail as a company is ‘at fault’ for staff shortages which have resulted in delays.
They note that ‘it is always the postal workers who get the stick for it’.

Working hours: 38 Full time hours per week with opportunity for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday to Friday, 09:00am-6:00pm
Salary: £21,119 per annum, increasing to £23,284 per annum on completion of a 6 month probation period (based on a 38 hour full time).
Parcelforce Collection and Delivery Driver
Location: Parcelforce Oxford Depot, Kidlington, Oxford, OX5 1HP
Working hours: 38 hours Full time hours per week with opportunity for overtime, Monday-Friday 08:20-16:00
Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum including excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full time week)
Parcelforce Collection and Delivery Driver

Location: PFW Oxford Depot, Kidlington, OXFORD, OX5 1HP
Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum including excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full time week)
Postperson with Driving
Location: Oxford Delivery Office, OX1 1XX
Working hours: Between 12:00 and 18:00, 5 days per week (Monday – Saturday)
Hourly Rate: £10.85 (aged 18+). £8.44 (aged 17), plus an additional £5.83 per hour Sunday premium, a weekly supplement of £26.61 (pro rata) and in some locations an area allowance is payable.
