TREES across the county have fallen this morning during the heavy winds experienced.
Many trees have ended up blocking roads, causing significant traffic delays.
Thames Valley Police reported the force is receiving lots of reports of trees causing obstructions on the roads, while West Oxfordshire District Council reported a number of trees had fallen in the district.

One giant tree branch which fell in Botley Road caused problems for traffic.
This tree in Donnington Bridge Road blocked the pavement and part of the cycle lane after taking a fall.
Meanwhile, this fallen tree caused traffic on the A40 out of Oxford, by Cassington.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service reported its on-call crew from Abingdon attended this fallen tree.

Finally, these fallen trees were spotted in Toot Baldon and Nuneham Courtenay respectively.
