A YELLOW weather warning for rain has been put in place in Oxford.
The Met Office issued the warning following the heavy rain experienced since approximately 11pm last night.
The rain is expected to slow down by 11am today, with the chance of precipitation at 10 per cent – compared to 40 per cent at 10am.
The yellow weather warning covers much of the south of England, with the Met Office reporting ‘a short period of heavy rainfall and possible squally winds may bring some localised flooding and transport disruption’.
There is currently no weather warning in place for tomorrow.
