Families have been making their final preparations for a fun Halloween weekend, including carving pumpkins, dressing up in costumes and trick or treating. Here we look back at some photos from over the years.

In recent years Clive Goddard and his wife, who live in Paget Road, Cowley, have decorated their front lawn with creepy decorations - including a menacing carved pumpkin, a 'body' trapped under a lawnmower, and 'dancing ghosts'.

Lots of people have stopped to look at the home with one neighbour asking Mr Goddard if he's 'trying to scare people away or lure them in'.
