A MAN has been arrested after a suspected arson at a house last night.
Emergency services were called to Chichester Close in Bicester at around 7pm.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue said the cause of the fire was believed to be ‘suspicious’.
In an update this afternoon, Thames Valley Police have confirmed that a 48-year-old man has been arrested.
A spokesperson for the force said: “A 48-year-old man, of no fixed abode, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted arson with intent to endanger life and he remains in police custody.
“A scene watch is currently in place and the investigation is ongoing.”
