THE cause of a house fire is believed to be suspicious, and is being investigated.
*UPDATE*: A man has now been arrested
Crews from fire stations in Bicester and Rewley Road in Oxford were called just before 7pm yesterday to a house fire just off Bicester town centre.
Wearing breathing apparatus, crews broke into the property and extinguished the blaze using hose reels.
Nobody was hurt in the incident, however Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service believe it to be suspicious.
The service is now working with Thames Valley Police (TVP) to investigate the cause of the blaze.
TVP has been contacted for a comment.
