Mystery knitters have decorated Didcot Post boxes with themed toppers.
Halloween themed, one of them displays a knitted pumpkin staring alongside a striped black and purple spider, both on them wearing a witch hat.
They are accompanied by a couple of happy white ghosts ready to make people in Didcot smile.
A Post box close to the train station was rocking a Remembrance Day topper.
The red poppies contrasted with the hat’s bright green base, and on top of it a white cross stands proud in the middle.
It is not known who is behind these creations, but their only aim appears to be to brighten up people’s day.
Both of them had tags reading “My simple aim is to make you smile. So please be kind and let me stay a while.”
Members of the Facebook group Random Acts of Crochet Kindness, mentioned in the tags, share images of their creations or findings, but Didcot’s mystery knitters are yet to be found.
