Police are continuing to question the Botley murder suspect.
Thames Valley Police launched a murder investigation yesterday after a man in his thirties was reportedly stabbed to death.
At about 9.05pm on Sunday, officers were called to Pinnocks Way in Botley.
A man in his 30s died at the scene.

A 33-year-old man, from Oxfordshire, was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
Police can hold somebody in custody for 24 hours before making a decision to charge somebody for a crime or to release them.
If somebody is suspected of a serious crime, like murder, police can apply to the courts to hold somebody for up to 36 or 96 hours.
