THIS is the moment a person was captured riding an an e-scooter on the hard shoulder of a busy Oxfordshire road.
A motorist, who has asked not to be named, managed to record the rider on their dash cam while driving on the A34 northbound on Wednesday.

They said they were driving around 1.5 miles from the Pear Tree interchange at 9.40am when they saw a person riding an e-scooter.
The dash cam footage shows the rider wearing a helmet, on the left side of the road.
It is against the law to use a privately owned e-scooter. If you use an e-scooter illegally:
- you could face a fine
- you could get penalty points on your licence
- the e-scooter could be impounded
